A. Goals
The specific goals :
- To provide a comprehensive and comprehensible account of major and minor trends in language teaching methods from beginning of the twentieth century to the present
- To present an objective and comprehensive picture of a particular approach or method.
- To give the teacher or teacher tranee a straightforward introduction to commonly and less commonly used methods, and a set of criteria by which to critically read, observe, analyze, and question approaches and methods.
